Simple StepsSimple Steps to an Integrative Marketing Approach
Step 1 - Marketing Tools
Using the Marketing Checklist – Print or make an editable computer copy
Use the copy to collect notes
How many of the Tools does your Practice have in Place?
Which are in Planning? When do you anticipate them?
How many items can you add to the Marketing Checklist that aren’t included yet?
(Please email me and I will add them to the master List)
On a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being highest) How effective is each?
For each tool you have:
What simple things could be made to make them more effective?
-
It could be as simple as removing clutter from an area or
-
Moving furniture for easier access or
-
Changing your Telephone greeting and extension list
-
Or having a Practice Directory with helpful hints inserted in each New Patient Package
Make a Written List
-
Which ideas that you just listed would have the most positive impact?
-
What things can be accomplished easily, or inexpensively?
-
What items does a Staff member wish to do because the really wants it changed?
-
Prioritize the list
-
Make sure is are available resources, including time
-
Be careful not to create more turmoil than you are trying to correct
-
If it needs to integrate with Practice Management due to specific issues, change the procedure first
Start with the easiest and simplest
Decide what would make it work better and be more effective
Make the changes and finish it before trying the next
Evaluate, revise and on to the next project
